We’re French & Howson—a husband-and-wife team of artists, photographers, and printmakers based in West Somerset. Our work is rooted in noticing the little things: the curve of a petal, the humor in a phrase, the quiet power of a self-portrait.

We create large-scale botanical paintings, tongue-in-cheek slogans for wearable art, and introspective prints that explore identity and emotion. Our photography captures the fleeting and the forgotten, always with an eye for joy.

With bright yellow and black as our signature palette, our brand is bold, playful, and deeply personal. We believe art should make you feel something—whether it’s wonder, laughter, or a sense of being seen.
